

Paneer dosa is one variety of dosa which we tried sometime back while travelling to Madurai.They had this vast array of about 100 dosa varieties and I was very much surprised to the see the collection of dosa varieties.On tasting it I decided I would definitely. give it a try while coming home.As my daughter is a paneer fan,I made it for her and she enjoyed it very much.Paneer in any form is good and healthy and giving it with mixed veggies and dosa is a real treat for kids.You can try it as an after school snack as well for kids.It is filling and you could make this for dinner.It can be made with ease and even kids can make the filling.So here goes the recipe.

- 1 cup dosa batter Idli / |
- 1/2 cup paneer (scrambled) |
- 1 onion |
- 1 capsicum |
- 1 tomato |
- 1/2 tsp red chilli Powder |
- 1/4 tsp turmeric Powder |
- 1/2 tsp Cumin / Jeera |
- 1 Chilly Green |
- to taste salt |
- 3 tsp Oil (for stuffing and roasting dosa )

- Scramble paneer and keep it ready.
- In a pan add oil followed by jeera and green chilli.
- Add now chopped onion and capsicum.
- Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
- Add chopped tomato and salt to taste.
- Add scrambled paneer now,mixing at regular intervals.
- Paneer stuffing for dosa is ready.Cool completely.
- Make dosa on a tawa as you normally do.
- Spread evenly the paneer stuffing on the dosa.Pour a bit of oil to get a nice roast.
- Fold it and wait till it turns crisp.
- Paneer dosa is ready.Serve hot with chutney
Notes
Add grated carrots or peas with capsicum for extra taste
You can add garam masala or pav bhaji masala in place of red chilli powder
Adding freshly chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves alongwith paneer stuffing also adds a nice taste.
