Recipe Notes
Notes.
You should always use fresh amlas for making pickles.
Adding crystal salt increases the shelf value of the pickle.
Use clean spoon to take out the thokku.
Nice thokku.. we don’t get nellikai in Brazil. I will make it when I go to India.
what is to be done with the water in which it has been boiled, should we grind it along with the water or not?
Water used for boiling cannot be used in the pickle. You can cool it and drink it along with honey or use it in rasam.
