
I think capsicum is a very versatile vegetable so you can use it in many forms.This is a simple South Indian style curry which I often end up making when I don’t have any ideas popping in my mind.You can have it with rice and chappathis too.I want to post a seperately on how to deseed it in seconds the good old capsicum, as some of the seeds don’t taste good along with veggies.Now over to the simple, humble capsicum curry.

Ingredients
- 2 capsicum
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp urad dal
- to taste salt
- 1 tsp curd
- 1 pinch turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Sambhar Powder
- 1 tsp Oil

Instructions
- Wash and dice capsicum into dices.Deseed them carefuliy.

- In a pan add oil and mustard.Once it crackles add urad dal.

- Add cubed capsicum pieces.

- Add salt,sambhar powder and turmeric powder.Cook till they turn soft,tender and glossy.

- Now add curd.Wait til it is completely absorbed.

- Capsicum Curry is ready to be served.

- Serve with hot steaming rice and any gravy.

Addition of besan/Kadala Maavu also gives a crunchy texture.
