BITTER GOURD CHIPS/PAVAKKAI VARUVAL

Chips is one of the addictive things which can’t be resisted.Iam afraid many of you will agree.I have always made potato, raw banana chips at home and never thought of making chips with bitter gourd. When we were travelling to chennai by car last month to attend a wedding,we stopped for coffee at Adyar Ananda Bhawan. There a pack of bitter gourd chips caught my attention. So to just  give it a try i bought and instantly found a liking to it.So last week when i had bitter gourd lying in my fridge rather unattended I made a good use of it by making this chips. So Even those who don’t like bitter gourd will like this for sure. It’s fast and easy to make too.See recipe below and make this for your family.

Recipe Notes

Notes

You can try adding pepper powder in place of red chilly powder.

Same proceedure you can try with tindora as well.

Adding curd is a must as that will take away the bitterness of bitter gourd and give a nice taste to the chips.
