MINT GINGER LEMONADE

 

 

I am back with yet another coolant drink,this time with mint,ginger and lemon.Living in summer asks for cooling down the body and what better way than to use up these wonder leaves called mint or pudina.It is known for its mouth and breath freshner properties as well.It is one of those herbs which is known to improve digestion and is an effective remedy for headache and nausea.Regular use of mint is beneficial for asthma patients and is a natural anti depressant as well.

I have a few Summer Coolers Recipes in my blog.But this is the first one with a lemony flavour.As we spoke of mint leaves,ginger too has excellent medicinal values.The root or underground rhizome is consumed either fresh,dried or powdered.Ginger can treat nausea,morning sickness and aids digestion.It is truly a wonder spice with excellent therapeutic properties.So why not try this cool mint ginger lemonade?

Instructions
  1. Wash mint leaves and stalks.Chop ginger and keep them ready.Cut lemon in halves.
  2. Place mint leaves and ginger in a blender.
  3. Grind well by adding a cup of water.
  4. Sieve with the help of a strainer.
  5. Squeeze the lemon now.
  6. Add honey and mix well.
  7. Add black pepper powder.
  8. Add black salt.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Serve mint ginger lemonade with ice cubes

Notes

You can add black salt if you want.

You can even add amchur powder,if you like.

Serve chilled for extra taste.
