Ingredients

curry leaves
Instructions
Clean and dice the yam into small cubes.
Boil them in a vessel containing water and turmeric powder.
Once boiled strain in a colander and remove water.
Temper oil,mustard ,urad dal and curry leaves.
Now add the boiled yam,samshar powder and salt .
Sprinkle besan/gram flour over the curry.Add some oil,if needed.
Yummy yam fry is ready to be eaten.
Serve hot with rotis or sambhar rice.

Instead of gram flour you can add rice flour.
You can add onions too frying.
Addition of pepper also enhances the taste instead of sambhar powder.
