  1. Rinse and soak the millets and dal seperately in water with fenugrrek seeds for hours.
  2. In a blender place the urad dal.
  3. Grind well.Don’t add too much water as the batter may turn watery.You can add by checking.
  4. Now add soaked varagu in the blender.
  5. Grind to a smooth paste.
  6. Add the urad dal batter and varagu batter.
  7. Add salt and mix well.
  8. Allow it to ferment for at least 8 hours.
  9. When you want make dosa,heat a tawa and drizzle some oil.Slowly make a thin crepe.
  10. Flip and roast on the other side too.
  11. Serve hot with Idli Molaga Podi and Coconut Chutney.

You can make idlis with the same batter.

Add water as you may find millets don’t require much water.
