Ingredients
  • 1/2cup maida|
  • 3tsps corn flour|
  • water| as neded
  • to taste salt|
  • 1/2tsp gingerGrated |
  • 1/2tsp garlicGrated |
  • 100gms tofu|
  • 1 onion|
  • 1 capsicum|
  • 1/2bunch spring onion|
  • 1tsp tomato sauce|
  • 1/2tsp soy sauce|
  • 1/2tsp Chilli SauceHot |
  • to taste salt|
  • Oil (for deep fry
Instructions
  1. Take maida, corn flour,salt , water, grated garlic and ginger.
  2. Make a batter without any lumps.
  3. Cut tofu in cubes in equal sizes.
  4. Dip the tofu pieces in the batter.
  5. Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry all the tofu dipped in batter
  6. Fry till golden brown and take them out.
  7. Keep aside the fried tofu pieces for later use.
  8. Chop onions,spring onion ad capsicum. Reserve some spring onions for garnishing.
  9. Take a pan and add oil.Once heated add chopped onions and wait till they turn translucent
  10. Now add spring onion and capsicum.
  11. Add now tomato sauce, hot chilly sauce and soya sauce one by one
  12. Mix well and let the flavours infuse.
  13. Add now fried tofu pieces and mix well
  14. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve immediately to enjoy Tofu Manchurian
  15. Your kids will love this.

Notes.

You can add white part of spring onions for more taste.

You can add garlic sauce if you want.

Adding green chilli sauce is also other option.
