Ingredients

Instructions
Soak all dals and rice for 1 hour.
Put them in a blender.
Grind coarsely.
Take it in a vessel.Add chopped onions cut pieces of coconut green chilly pieces,salt and asafoetida.
Temper in oil mustard seeds and curry leaves and pour that in the vada batter.Flatten in a plastic sheet.
Heat oil and fry one by one.
Till golden brown.
Serve hot with coconut chutney .

Notes
You could avoid onion if you want.
Coconut pieces are a must since they add a nice crunch to the vada.
You make fry like bondas too.
