In a pan add oil and add chopped ginger and garlic.
Fry till it reaches golden brown colour.
Add red chili paste.

Add black pepper now.
Add tomato ketchup.
Keep the flame low.
Wait till oil leaves sides and the mixture reaches the consistency of a sauce.

You can also add celery,onions and green chillies alongwith garlic and ginger.
Adding vinegar will increase the shelf life of the sauce.
You could add a pinch of sugar to enhance taste.
If you find the sauce watery add corn flour and water mixture for thickening of the sauce.
