Squeeze water from sabudana and add it to a wide bowl.Add chopped green chillies,red chilli powder, powdered groundnuts,mashed potatoes,salt and asafoetida.Also add coriander leaves and lemon juice.
Mix well.
Flatten it with your hand.
Drop in in a kadai of hot oil one by one all vadas.
Fry till golden brown.
Serve hot with green coriander chilly chutney.

If not fasting you may add chopped onions.
If you have roasted peanuts you may powder them and add or add as a whole.
