Ingredients
  • 1/2cup coconutGrated
  • tamarinda small bit
  • 4 red chilli
  • to taste salt
  • pinch asafoetidaa
  • 1/4tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Oil
Instructions
  1. Take grated coconut,tamarind,red chillies,salt and asafoetida in a blender adding a little water.
  2. Grind well.
  3. Temper with oil and mustard seeds.Serve with idlis or dosas.

Notes

You can add more chillies if you can withstand heat.

Always use freshly scraped coconut.

Add water just enough for the chutney to grind well.
