Instructions
Wash and rinse aval/poha in water and soak just to immerse them for twenty minutes.
Take a kadai and add oil and when it gets heated add mustard,urad dal,channa dal,red chilly,groundnuts,curry leaves and asafoetida.
When they are roasted add cumin powder,peper powder,strained aval an d salt.
Mix well and add grated coconut.cook for 2 minutes till no moisture is there.
Pepper poha is ready.
Serve pepper poha hot.

Notes
You can add cashew nuts for extra taste.
Addition of ghee about a teaspoon enhances the taste of poha.
Use only thick aval as the thin ones will turn mushy.
Use freshly grounded pepper for extra taste.
