Ingredients

basmati rice

Green Peas

1/2tsp
Cumin / Jeera

Star Anise

Bay Leaf

Clove

1/2tsp
garlicGrated

Instructions
Soak basmati rice in water for half an hour.
In a pressure cooker add oil and jeera.
Add now grated garlic,bay leaf and clove.
Add star anise and green peas.Fry a bit.Add soaked rice.
Add salt and 1 1/2 cups of water.
Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Peas Pulao is ready.Serve with raita or any gravy.

- Notes
- Adding ghee along with oil adds to the taste.
- You can add chopped onions at the time of adding peas.
- Serve with any gravy or plain curd.
