Instructions
  1. Wash and cut the red pumpkin into cubes.Cook it with salt to taste and wait till they turn mushy.
  2. When done add grated coconut and powdered jaggery.
  3. When the whole mass is completely mixed add coconut milk.
  4. Mix and wait till the mixture thickens.
  5. Temper with the things given in the” to temper” table.
  6. Parangikkai vella kootu or red pumpkin sweet stew is ready.

You can add plain milk in place of coconut milk.

You can make the stew with cluster beans as well.
