Ingredients
  • 200gms paneer
  • 1 carrot(cut into juiliennes)
  • 5 Beans
  • 2 tomato
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1 onion
  • 1tsp red chilliPowder
  • 1/2tsp corianderPowder
  • 1/2tsp garam masala
  • 1tsp ginger(grated)
  • 1/2tsp turmericPowder
  • to taste salt
  • 1/2tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1tsp lemon juice
  • coriander leavesto garnish
  • 1/2tsp methiKasoori (crushed)
  • 2tsp Oil
Instructions
  1. Cut all the vegetables into juiliennes.
  2. Cut paneer and keep aside.
  3. In a pan add oil and jeera.Once it splutters add grated ginger and onion.
  4. When it turns,add red chilly powder,coriander power,turmeric powder and garam masala powder.
  5. Take one chopped tomato and put in a blender .
  6. Puree it.
  7. Add it to the onion mixture.
  8. Fry till moisture is absorbed.
  9. Take all veggies in a vessel and adding water parboil them.
  10. Once done strain it.
  11. Add it to the onion mixture.
  12. Mix well and add now salt and kasoori methi.
  13. Add paneer cubes.
  14. Mix well.
  15. Squeeze lemon.
  16. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  17. Enjoy Paneer Jalfrezi with hot rotis.

Notes

  • You can add baby corn,red and yellow capsicum also.
  • Addition of tomato ketchup while sauteing is another variation,I didn’t add,but it gives nice red colour.
  • Kasoori methi is dried fenugreek leaves and it imparts a nice aroma to the dish.
