Ingredients
FOR THE MASALA
  • 2 BoiledPotatoes
  • 1 onion|
  • handful Green Peas| a
  • 1/2tsp mustard|
  • 1/2tsp Channa dal|
  • 1/4tsp turmericPowder |
  • to taste salt|
FOR OTHER TOPPINGS
  • Grated Coconut
  • As Needed butter
  • A Few coriander leaves
  • 2cups Idli/Dosa Batter
  • 3tsp Idli Molaga Podi
  • As Needed Oil
Instructions
  1. In a pan add oil followed by mustard and channa dal.
  2. Add chopped onion.
  3. After onion turns pink add turmeric powder and salt.
  4. Add green peas and fry a bit.
  5. Boil and peel potatoes.
  6. Mash add them to the above mixture.
  7. Mix well masala is ready
  8. Make dosa a little thicker.
  9. Spread masala over it.
  10. Add grated coconut.
  11. And chopped coriander leaves.
  12. Sprinkle idli molaga podi all over the dosa.
  13. Add a dollop of butter in centre.
  14. Open Butter Masala Dosa is ready

Notes

You can roast the dosa with ghee in place of oil

Don’t flip the dosa,it should be cooked on one side
