NACHOS
Nachos is a Mexican  dish made from corn meal, wheat flour and carom seeds.

Ingredients
  • 1cup Corn Meal
  • 1/2cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/2tsp Turmeric Powder
  • SaltTo Taste
  • 1/2tsp Carom Seeds
  • 2tsp Oil(for kneading the dough)
  • As Needed Water
  • OilFor Deep Frying
Instructions
  1. Add corn meal.
  2. Add wheat flour.
  3. Add turmeric powder.
  4. Add salt.
  5. Add carom seeds.
  6. Add oil.
  7. Add water and knead.
  8. Make a soft dough.
  9. Rest for 10 minutes.
  10. Make 3 balls.
  11. Flatten the ball and dust with flour.
  12. Make rotis.
  13. Cut in to diagonals as shown.
  14. Make triangles like this.
  15. Add these to hot oil.
  16. Fry till golden brown.
  17. Take out on a tissue to drain excess oil.
  18. Enjoy with salsa.
Recipe Notes

You can add rice flour in place of wheat flour.

 

You can top it with your choice.

Knead the dough soft for best results.
