Ingredients
  • 1cup maida
  • 1/4cup rice flour
  • 1/4cup curdSour
  • 1/4tsp Jeera / Cumin
  • 3 green chilli
  • to taste salt
  • 1 onion
  • 1sprig curry leaves
  • a few coriander leaves
  • 1pinch cooking soda
  • oil( for deep frying)
Instructions
  1. Add maida,rice flour,jeera ,salt,chopped green chilles,curry and coriander leaves along with chopped onions in a big vessel.
  2. Add now sour curd and cooking soda .
  3. Mix well.The batter should neither thick nor watery.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai and slowly drop in balls of the batter as shown.
  5. Take out once golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with coconut chutney.

Notes

You may avoid onions,if you want.

Adding cooking soda adds sponginess to bondas.

You can also add green chili paste.
