  1. Take in a large bowl rice flour,urad dal,red chilly powder,salt,butter,oil,jeera,white sesame seeds and asafoetida.
  2. Make a nice soft dough by adding water.Be careful not to add too much water add little by little to get the desired consistency.
  3. Make a long strip by taking a small ball of the dough by rolling with your palm.If it’s sticky,rub a little oil to your palm.
  4. Now join both the ends of the strip to make the shape of small rings.Make all the dough like this and lay them on a plate.
  5. Heat oil in pan and when it gets heated,put on the rings one by one.Be careful they shouldn’t stick with each other.
  6. Fry till golden brown and the sound will subside then.
  7. Take them on a tissue.
  8. Enjoy kodubales any time of the day.

Notes

You can add a teaspoon of freshly grated coconut to the dough.

Instead of rice flour you can make the same with wheat flour and also with rava and maida equal propotions.
