  1. Soak Basmati rice in water for half an hour.
  2. In a pan add oil and temper with the ingredients given in the “TO TEMPER ” table.
  3. Add rice and water and cook in a closed pan.
  4. Soak saffron strands in milk.
  5. Add this to the rice.
  6. Rice is done.
  7. In a pan add all the nuts.
  8. Add oil and onion and fry.
  9. Fry onion till brown.
  10. Chop pineapple and take out pomegrante seeds.Assemble all ingredients.
  11. Add dry fruits and fried onion to the cooked rice.
  12. Now add jeera powder.
  13. Add salt and fruits.
  14. Mix well.
  15. Kashmiri Pulao is served.Enjoy it hot.

You can add cherries or tutti frutti also for garnishing.

You can add apples and pears too.

If you like add a grren chilli while tempering.

Don’t cook the fruits,add them at the last time.
