Instructions
Take khoya,maida,sodium-bi-carbonate and a teaspoon of sugar in a bowl.
Knead to a soft dough by adding water and milk.
Take a small portion of the dough and add chopped nuts .
Add green food colour and mix.This forms the stuffing.
From the remaining dough make balls.Make small balls out of the nut mixture too and place it inside the plain dough.
Close the dough,keeping in mind to fill the stuffing inside.Make all balls like this.
All balls are ready.
Heat oil in a kadai and slowly drop in the balls.
And take them out once it attains dark colour.
Take them out on a tisue.
In a pan add water and sugar and make a syrup.
When the sugar reaches half string consistency,switch off the flame .
Soak the fried jamuns in the syrup.
Take them out and arrange on a plate.
Serve it with finely chopped nuts on top.

You can add cashews and raisins as a filling.
You can add any food colour.
You can top it with dessicated coconut also.
