Ingredients
  • 1/4cup pastaFussili
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4cup Chickpeas / Garbanzo-(soaked overnight and pressure cooked)
  • 1/2tsp rosemary
  • 1/2tsp black pepperPowder
  • to taste salt
  • 1 garlic
  • 1tsp olive oil
  • basilLeaves- for garnish
Instructions
  1. In a small pan add water to boil and put pasta to it.
  2. Once cooked witch off the flame.
  3. Strain and keep aside.
  4. Chop onion and tomato.
  5. In a pan add oilve oil, crushed garlicand chopped onion.Fry till pink.
  6. Add chopped onion.
  7. Add a cup of water,cooked pasta and garbanzo.
  8. Boil for 5 minutes.
  9. Add black pepper powder.
  10. Add rosemary and salt.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  12. Switch off the flame.
  13. Garbanzo Tomato Pasta Soup is ready to serve.

Notes

You can add dried basil for garnish.

You can add grated cheese on top.

You can add oregano for that Italian taste,if you have it on hand.
