Ingredients
1/4
cup
black sesame
2
tsp
jaggery
1
pinch
cardamom
Powder
FOR THE DOUGH
1
cup
rice flour
water
as needed
1
tsp
sesame oil
Instructions
Dry roast sesame seeds in a pan.
Put them along with cardamom powder and jaggery.
Grind finely.
Make balls out of the mixture.
FOR MAKING THE DOUGH
In a pan add water along with sesame oil and allow it to boil.
Add rice flour slowly without forming lumps.
Mix well continuosly and wait till it gets cooked.
Cool completely.
Make small balls out of rice flour .
Make cup shapes and place poornam balls.
Close and form shapes as shown.
Steam in an idli cooker.
After 8-10 minutes ,check if it is cooked.
It is done.
Ellu Kozhakattais are ready for offering as naivedhya to GOD.

Notes
Cover the dough with a cloth from getting dry.
Apply oil to your hands while making kozhakattais.
Adding coconut to the poornam is another variation in the filling.
