Ingredients
  • 1cup cauliflowerFlorets
  • 1/4 yellow capsicum
  • 1/4 capsicumRed
  • 1/4 green capsicum
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2tsp ginger(grated)
  • 1/2tsp Garlic Sauce(grated)
  • 1/2tsp Soya Sauce
  • 1/2tsp tomato sauce
  • 1/2tsp black pepperPowder
  • to taste salt
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/2tsp spring onion(chopped)
  • 1tsp coriander leaves(chopped)
  • 1/2cup maida
  • 2tsps corn flour
  • 1/2tsp red chilliPowder
  • to taste salt
  • 1pinch baking soda
Instructions
  1. Boil cauliflower florets in water.
  2. Strain once par boiled.
  3. In a bowl add maida,corn flour,red chilli powder,salt and baking soda.
  4. Adding water make a lump free batter.
  5. Dip cauliflower florets in the batter.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and add coated cauliflower florets in hot oil.
  7. Take them out once golden brown.
  8. In another pan add oil and grated ginger and garlic.
  9. Add chopped onion and green chilli.
  10. Fry till pink.
  11. Add red,green and yellow capsicum pieces.
  12. Add soya sauce.
  13. Add tomato sauce.
  14. Add black pepper powder.
  15. Add fried cauliflower florets now.
  16. Mix well.Add chopped coriander leaves and spring onions.
  17. Chilli Gobhi is ready to be served.

Notes

You can make the same recipe using paneer or bread.

You can add green chilli sauce for more spiciness.

Adding pepper adds to the taste.
