Ingredients
  • 3 carrot
  • 2inch gingerbit
  • 1/4tsp Cumin / Jeera/
  • 1/4tsp Caraway Seeds / AjwainOmam
  • to taste salt
  • a few coriander leaves
  • 1/4tsp pepperpowder
  • 1/2 lemon
Instructions
  1. Pressure cook carrots and ginger for 2 whistles.
  2. Cool completely.
  3. Add the contents in a blender.
  4. Add ajwain,jeera and coriander leaves.
  5. Grind to a smooth paste.
  6. Transfer the paste in to a vessel and add a cup of water or more.
  7. Bring to a boil and add pepper and salt.
  8. Squeeze lemon.
  9. Carrot Ginger Soup is ready.
  10. Serve hot before any meal.

Notes

You can add more ajwain and pepper as per your taste.

You can also make soup with beetroot like this.

Check for water as carrot tends to get thicker when boiled.
