  1. In a pan add oil and mustard to crackle followed by urad dal and red chilly.Once they turn brown add peanuts and cashews.Allow them to turn golden brown.
  2. Add onion and saute.
  3. Add chopped cabbage.
  4. Add now,turmeric powder,salt and curry leaves.
  5. Fry well it it gets cooked.
  6. Pressure cook rice for 3 whistles and cool completely.Add it to the cabbage mixture.
  7. Serve with any raita or pack your lunch box with chips or curry.

Notes

You can add grated carrots for more flavour.

Adding green chillies as whole or paste is another option.
