  1. Wash,wipe and allow the lady’s finger to dry.Cut into 2 inch pieces.
  2. Chop onions and tomato finely lengthwise and keep them ready.
  3. In a pan add oil and stir fry lady’s fingers.Add salt and turmeric powder.
  4. Fry till it is crunchy and roasted all over.Once done keep it aside.
  5. In a pan add oil and jeera.Add now ginger-garlic paste.
  6. Add onions followed by red chilli powder,black pepper powder and garam masala powder.
  7. Add chopped onions and tomato.Fry well.
  8. Add stir fried lady’s finger.
  9. Add lemon juice.
  10. And salt.
  11. Add crushed kasoori methi.
  12. Bhindi Do Pyaza is ready.
  13. We had this with soft rotis.

Notes

You can chop lady’s fingers lengthwise slit and follow the same proceedure.

Adding lemon ensures tanginess to the curry.

You may as well add curd in place of lemon.

Crush kasoori methi before adding as that gives more flavour.
