  1. In a bowl d rice flour, chopped onions, grated ginger, coconut and carrot, cumin seeds, turmeric powder.red chily powder, green chillies.coriander leaves, asafoetida and salt.
  2. Add water and knead to a soft dough.
  3. Now take a small ball and place it on a plastic sheet or a zip lock cover.
  4. Flatten it in the form of roti.
  5. Heat a tawa drizzle some oil and put the rotis.
  6. Flip and cook the other side.
  7. Serve hot with coconut chutney.

  • Notes
  • You can add chopped cabbage in place of onions.
  • Don’t knead the flour by applying pressure as it will result in breaking of rotis while roasting.
  • Skip green chillies if giving to children.
