NARTHANGAI SADAM/NARANGI RICE/CITRON RICE/LUNCH BOX IDEA

This citron or narthangai is one wonder fruit. The flavour it has is very overpowering and strong and the aroma to whichever food item it goes is simply comforting. This citron comes from the citron family and needless to say it has vitaminC in ample propotions.I have narthangai pachadi in my blog, which is also very tasty.People make pickle out of this narthangai and it is also sun dried with lots of salt which is used as a pickle kind of side dish with curd rice.Narthangai rice is yet another tempting and tangy rice which can be made as a good lunch box option too.See down below the recipe for this tingling rice variety..
