SOYA MASALA VADA

Sometime back I was asked to contribute in recipes for a Tamil Magazine, the topic of which was Soya. Among many soya recipes I made this one was enjoyed to the core as I had made it when it was heavily raining here in Bangalore and Ravi liked this very much.Soya as we all know is abundant in protein and is a legume variety, native to East Asia.As we all nowadays oil is also made from soyabean and is considered to be healthy. As a matter of fact, this recipe was purely an innovative one and I had made it just for the sake of adding a soya recipe to the list.

I also made a similar one with urad dal and a pakoda as well. This one is made with channa dal and soya bean and is ground coarsely with spices and deep fried. You can also try this when you have a get together, celebration or simply when friends come over. The addition of onion is also optional and you can add even chopped cabbage. But the soaking time for soya is more and it takes more time than the usual masala vada which is made with channa and tur dals.See down below the easy recipe of Soya Masala Vada and let me know.
