Ingredients

basmati rice

Green Peas

Cumin / Jeera

Star Anise

Bay Leaf

Clove
1/2
tsp
garlic
Grated
to taste
salt
Instructions
Soak basmati rice in water for half an hour.
In a pressure cooker add oil and jeera.
Add now grated garlic,bay leaf and clove.
Add star anise and green peas.Fry a bit.Add soaked rice.
Add salt and 1 1/2 cups of water.
Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Peas Pulao is ready.Serve with raita or any gravy.

Notes
Adding ghee along with oil adds to the taste.
You can add chopped onions at the time of adding peas.
Serve with any gravy or plain curd.
