Ingredients

  1. In a pan add crumbled khoya.
  2. Keep on mixing.
  3. As you can see the ghee will start to ooze out.
  4. Add half the quantity of milk and mix.
  5. Keep on mixing and add cardamom powder.
  6. Add sugar and mix.
  7. The colour will change to brown.
  8. Mix till a whole mass is formed.
  9. Once cooled blend it to get even texure.
  10. Add this to the pan again and add rest of the milk.
  11. Once a proper mixture is formed switch off the flame.
  12. Once cooled make small oval shaped pedas.
  13. Make all pedas similarly.
  14. Roll it in powdered sugar.
  15. Enjoy with family and friends.

Ensure to keep the flame low while cooking.

If using paneer run in a mixer to get proper crumblings.

Adding cardamom powder adds to the taste.
