Paneer, Side Dish for Roti

PANEER BHURJI

Paneer is a substantially protein food for vegetarians and is full of calcium and Viatamin D. It is a totally satisfying scene if you happen to see your child’s plate polished away in no time.My daughter likes paneer and I made this bhurji with it sometime back.It is very easy recipe and I followed it from an old cookbook of mine. With less time involved in the preparation one can easily pack this as a side for rotis for lunch and also for diinner as well. The paneer is crumbled and mixed with spices and onions with tomatoes. The resulting dish is an easy and tasty dish to enjoy.I have already a super roast Paneer Dosa on my blog and the stuffing to that is similar to bhurji. So in addition to having this with rotis, you can stuff it with dosa as well. Also with besan mixed water and spices you can roll balls of paneer bhurji and deep fry them and have paneer bhurji vadas. The innovations and imaginations are endless with the love for food,is it not?

I have also heard of alu bhurji and capsicum bhurji, but have not tried my hands on them yet.You can also have these with plain bread too as a breakfast option.I make a wrap with rotis and pack it for Dhivya as a roll. Also you can be creative and stuff it in capsicum cups by removing seeds and baking them.Sounds a delicious way of packing and stuffing right?Homemade paneer is always economical, fresh and good,so,if you can make paneer at home,it is well and good.Since this dish consumes less oil,it is healthy as well.So why don’t you try out this on your next trip to kitchen?
