KARA SEV

Kara sev is one snack that can be prepared in no time.An apt savory item that is most suitable during rainy days, this snack will make you eat not just one.My mom used a large laddle with holes, through which she rubbed dough directly on to the oil.But sometimes she made this way also as i have made using thenkuzhal achhu. The peppery flavour is the highlight of the snack. This i learnt from my mom who is an expert in making snacks. So beginers can also indulge in making this snack as it is very easy to make.here is how i made it.

Notes

Remember to grind pepper coarsely to enhance pepper flavour.

Do not add too much butter as that will result in breaking of kara sev.

You can half a teaspoon of red chilli powder,if you want it spicier.

If adding garlic, add it by making a paste to the dough.
