Pasta, Reviews, Soups

Soups are always comforting and the most sought food item in the menu specially during winters. I have a few soup recipes in my blog which are not only filling but a meal in itself. Take for example this soup. It has cooked pasta added thereby completes the hunger cravings any time of the day. This is specifically good for working women who come late in the evenings, yet want to have a complete satisfaction of having a full meal. The veggies added are simple and easily available at home, so don’t go in to this recipe’s ¬†fancy name and think it would a difficult affair to make it. Among numerous soup recipes I have a few in my blog which were written for product reviews. This is one among those. I received a pack of Savorit Macaroni Pasta from Savorit limited and was asked to write using their product. The pasta was superb and when cooked was simply soft and every bite was a delight. The pasta is made with 100% durum wheat semolina. So you can be rest assured about the nutritive value and standards.

The spinach and tomato adds a creamy and tasty touch to the soup. Since the base is spinach the texture is thick and yields a rich and vibrant colour. The ingredients are kept simple and is totally captivating. The green soup along with pasta completes a meal which is loaded with herbs and spices. This healthy soup with practically no oil content is bound to be a hit among kids too. I have seen in some recipes where in the spinach leaves are teared and added. But since I wanted a creamy texture I have blanched it and ground it to a fine paste along with tomatoes and made this soup. Do try this soup in this chilly weather and let me know.
