CHOCOLATE BANANA PANCAKE

Pancakes are always filling and tasty, if taken during breakfast. I make it once in a while and my daughter Dhivya relishes each time I make it. I have already two pancake recipes in my blog, but this one is full of chocolate and bananas. I generally make this for breakfast but you can try this for evening snack as well. It is one of the most easy recipes and takes very less time to prepare and it doesn’t involve any expertise in making these delicious pancakes. You can make a lot of variations in this by adding fruits like peaches, strawberries or mangoes too. But I have set this as a simple recipe and it was made well within 10 minutes.

I used Nirlep Selec + tawa for this and the pancakes were easy to turn and cook. The heat spreads evenly and with less time you can make more due to it’s thick bottom. I didn’t use much butter in this and it is a very healthy recipe also to try out. The pancakes are made generally out of maida or all purpose flour, but if you are really concerned about your health, you can add wheat flour in place of maida or equal portions of both. You can also use brown sugar, organic cane sugar or powdered jaggery in place of normal sugar. Do try out this tasty recipe and surprise your kids.

  1. In a bowl add maida.
  2. Add chocolate powder,baking powder and sugar.
  3. Add yogurt.
  4. Add sliced bananas.
  5. Mash well.
  6. Add milk.
  7. Mix again.
  8. Batter is ready.
  9. Add butter in the tawa.
  10. Pour the batter.
  11. Flip it over.
  12. Serve it hot drizzled with honey on top.
Recipe Notes

You can drizzle maple syrup on top of the pancakes in place of honey.
You can chopped bananas for garnishing.
You can add vanilla essence to the batter for additional flavor.
