CARAMALIZED GRILLED PINEAPPLE

Pineapple is an exotic tropical fruit variety which is loved by all. I have made a deliciously easy recipe here with pineapple spears that are coated with buttery, chilly, and sweet flavors grilled to perfection. My daughter who loves fancy recipes asked me to do this one which she read on a website. She not only helped me in making this but clicked the pictures as well. I was highly impressed by the dedication she showed and was happy with the outcome as well. Coming to the recipe, this involves less work but yields remarkable results. Pineapples are available all round the year with little bit of spices and sugar it tastes simply superb. I have added fresh orange and lemon juice which adds a refreshing flavor and the chilli adds to the heat. You can cut the pineapple in spears or in roundels. And if you do not have a grill then you can use a tawa and follow the same procedure.

There are many fruits with which you can make this recipe with. Pears, apples, watermelons and veggies like carrots, cucumber can also be made coating with this syrup. Also some people like to add ground cinnamon and clove powders, but since I am not a huge fan of these flavours avoided adding it. Also you can add honey in place of brown sugar. As you grill the pineapple spears, the fruit gets caramelized giving a golden brown colour on the top and sides which is not only good to look at but tastes awesome as well. I have made the sauce in Nirlep Selec + fry pan which due to its smooth surface and strong bottom made the sauce cook easily without having to worry for me the fear of being burnt. Check down below for a wonderful and tempting recipe and try it out at your next get together party..
