  Anything with potato is a hit in my home.And with these cute little baby potatoes you can create wonders.A simple curry,dum aloo,mix veg curry or a simple gravy,the limit is endless and the taste it gives is simply superb.This potato curry forms an easy side dish for variety rices,pulaos and even simple chapathi.You can always make variations in this with a handful of green peas or an onion too.I kept it plain and simple as i wanted to taste the baby potato in it’s own flavour.Scroll down for an easy and quick recipe that can earn you good name in your kitchen.

Instructions
  1. Boil baby potatoes till done and take out their skin.
  2. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt over the potatoes and give it a good toss.
  3. In a pan add oil mustard and jeera.
  4. Add now boiled potatoes and sprinkle rice flour on top and mix well.Fry till golden brown.
  5. When fried well garnish with curry leaves and switch off the flame.
  6. Serve hot with rice or roti.

Notes

  • You can also add sambhar powder instead of all these powders.
  • Adding rice flour ensures even roast to the potatoes and also gives a nice crunch.
  • You can even prick the potatoes with fork for even distribution of masalas to the potaoes.
