AVOCADO GUACAMOLE SANDWICH

Sandwiches are eveyone’s favourite aren’t they? And children love to grab them at any time of the day. Keeping this in my mind, I made this recipe which is not only easy to make but is healthy and tasty as well. As we all know avocados are a good source of vitamins and minerals and tastes yummy also. They have very less sugar content and so they can be had by sugar patients without guilt. I have  used brown bread here which is more healthier than the whiter ones. This recipe does not involve any cooking except the toasting part as the filling is raw and can be made within 10 minutes. You can have a lot of variations with the vegetables in this but I have stuck to the basic easy recipe of Guacamole. Similarly adding olive oil on top is also optional but that sure enhances the flavour of mashed avocados.

You can even add cheese toppings and grill it. That gives a perfect crunchy taste to the sandwich. Selecting the avocado is a tricky part as the ripe ones are blackish and tender. I made a milkshake with this wonderful fruit, the recipe of which will be soon on the blog. As we all know this guacamole is usually used as a dip for snacks and it is a a very filling idea to put all this goodness in a sandwich and eat it as and when needed.  Adding a lot of veggies is another option and feel free to experiment with your imagination. So when you are wondering what to pack for lunch for your kid or planning for a quick fix dinner, make this and serve and the joy it brings to the people served.
