AMERICAN CHOPSUEY

 

When we went out for my hubby’s birthday last year my daughter ordered American Chopsuey.I had no idea until the order came and as Dhivya began munching on it I could see the expression in her face that it was good.So I decided to try an attempt at it and succeded to some extent.This one I made recently as an evening snack which was throughly enjoyed and Dhivya said it really tasted awesome.This recipe is adapted from Tarla Dalal with slight variations.Now here goes the recipe ..

Instructions
  1. Chop all vegetables in juliennes .
  2. Chop spring onions.
  3. Take all ingredients in to make sauce table.
  4. Make a paste.
  5. Cook in a pan stirring continuosly.
  6. The sauce is done.
  7. Take a pan and add oil and throw in chopped onions and fry till pink.
  8. Add spring onions.
  9. And rest of the veggies.
  10. Take half of the noodles and add to boiling water.
  11. Wait till it is properly cooked.
  12. Strain and keep aside.
  13. Fry half of the noodles.
  14. And keep aside.
  15. To the fried veggies add now,prepared sauce and boiled nooldles.
  16. Add green chilli sauce.
  17. And fried noodles.
  18. Mix well.
  19. Garnish with spring onions and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add spice by adding more sauce.
  • You can even add chinese touch by adding vinegar.
